Midnight Rendezvous This doll represents a little tryst at a hotel. The young lady is sneaking from one room to another in her very elegant negligee. I used some wonderful old cotton voile with incredible embroidery which I got from a friend in Switzerland. It is probably about 60 years old, at least. I used it practically as-is, with very little cutting or seams. This gives the negligee wonderfully full sleeves, reminiscent of the 1920's. The nightgown underneath it is cut on the bias, and made from brown silk.
