Nefertiti (A Reflection of Beauty) Nefertiti is an ancient Egyptian name which means, "The beautiful one is come." So I made her relaxing in a chair and gazing at herself in the polished brass mirror. We catch her in reverie, between egocentric gazes. Nefertiti's crown is made from Das Pronto, an air-drying clay that was rolled thin and then cut out and shaped before drying. Her colloar is all glass beads on brass wire. It took a few days just to do the beadwork. Even longer to make the chair which has carved calf-legs and three kinds of wood inlaid in the back.
